Once a day, game players can visit certain NPCs to perform special tasks for them. In return for successfully completing this task, you'll be rewarded with game items. You can also think of them as daily quests, as like other popular games use that terminology.
To start a task visit an NPC while wearing a game HUD, click them, and then click Task if it's available. You must have earned 30 Experience in order to start a task. All NPCs share the same 16 hour daily task cooldown timer, so you must choose which NPC you want to run a task for. If you have enough EXP and a task isn't available you'll be presented with a timer letting you know how much longer you have to wait.
All tasks contain a healthy amount of random element generation. The way the random elements are generated could produce a task that is impossible to complete. As such there is no guarantee that you will be able to complete an attempted task. But on the other side of the same coin, the random elements could just be in your favor that day, and the task would be super easy or without risk. It's up to you if you want to try to complete a task.
All tasks require that you do not remove your game HUD or quest HUD, teleport, get auto-suspended, or die while doing the task. Trigger any of these and you'll fail your task. Certain tasks may also have other conditions that you'll have to avoid to complete your task.
