A Desolate Region is similar to an Outland Region except that you will "live" on already established estate infrastructure. The price per prim is pretty high, but on the other hand you don't have to worry about building a home. You'll just need to decorate it. Since the parcels are small, we encourage people to anchor their builds and build onto estate land. The drawback is that terraforming, building on ground level, and skyboxes aren't allowed.
