The monthly land token program was first introduced at the end of February 2010.
About
Once per month in entirety of the estate one of these tokens appears in salvage. This token is trade-able and resell-able to anyone; but most importantly it's redeemable to NeoBokrug Elytis. When you turn this in, you may choose a free 176 or 234 prims plot with 4 weeks of tier that is available in The Wastelands ( http://land.the-wastelands.org/ ) -- OR if you're already a land owner, this is redeemable for L$3000 applied to any of your tier meters.
Goals
- Introduce new Wastelanders to how awesome it is owning your own chunk of land in the Wastelands.
- Reward existing landowners and game players in the estate.
- Tie in the games to owning land for the first time.
